PADI® Freediver

Freediving is an entirely different way to experience the underwater world. You’ll dive deeper, stay down longer, and feel part of the ocean itself. If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI® Freediver course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves

Getting Qualified

PADI® Freediver consists of the following three phases:

1. Knowledge development

Learning about freediving principles through the PADI Freediver Touch app, an interactive study tool that gives you the background information you need to freedive safely and allows you to learn at your own pace. Alternatively, your instructor may conduct class sessions

2. Confined Water Session

To develop breath hold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea. Goal – static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 meters/80 feet

3. Open Water Sessions
